AI Consultant & Researcher · Sydney
Helping organisations use AI safely and ethically.
AI is now good enough to help in any white-collar role, but it comes with real risks. I work with nonprofits, for-profits, and government agencies to build their AI literacy: no upselling, no jargon, just pragmatic, independent advice and training on how to use it safely and well.
Get in touchWho this is for
Maybe your team is already using ChatGPT or Copilot inconsistently, or you're worried about privacy and IP risks. Maybe you suspect a lot of work could be automated but don't know how — or whether it's even a good idea.
If your team has a lot of questions about AI, we should talk.
I've worked with organisations in defence, government, media, and NGOs.
What I offer
A practical, no-BS session (2–4 hours, or half-day) covering what your team actually needs to know:
Tailored to your sector and the specific concerns of your team. Available in-person or online.
A rapid assessment of where you are and some help going forward:
For production companies: I help develop clear policies on AI use that exploit opportunities, protect your IP, clarify rights with contributors, and keep you compliant with evolving industry standards.
Why me
Does it actually work?
I've done academic research on AI capabilities and limitations — I know what these tools can and can't do, and I won't oversell them.
Is it safe and legal?
I've worked on AI policy around addictive content, developed IP frameworks for production companies, and lobbied for amendments to legislation to prevent Big Tech overreach.
Will my team trust it?
I advised the Australian Army on trustworthy AI, I'm a board member for a nonprofit building an AI mental health app, and I've been using AI tools daily since 2022.
Are you going to upsell me?
I don't consult to industries I consider unethical — and that includes Big Tech itself. I'm not here to sell you on AI. I'm here to help you make informed decisions.
I'm an independent researcher and consultant. My incentive is your organisation making the right call — not maximising your AI adoption.
